Full Board

Super Dungeon Explore!

With my new found obsession with Super Dungeon Explore I love to see what people are doing with the miniatures. So when I found the Super Dungeon Explore boards made by Tyson Koch of FigurePainters.com I was just blown away. These boards look fantastic and they really give off the feeling of a great dungeon crawl.

As I usually do when I find something that inspires me, I contacted Tyson for an interview. Read on for the full interview, and don’t forget to check out his site for more pictures of not only the Super Dungeon Explore board but tons of other amazing works as well!

A New Painting Guide and What’s Coming Soon

Posted in Site News on June 17th, 2011 by Svenn

Sigur of Battle Brush Studios, that crazy squirrel that brought you several painting guides on Tabletop Geeks earlier this year, is at it again! This time he’s put together a step-by-step painting guide for a Space Wolves Wolf Guard Battle Leader. This new painting guide turned out pretty awesome, just as with the previous guides. The guide comes complete with plenty of pictures of each step along the way, along with a description of how everything was done. I highly recommend checking out Sigur’s galleries as well as keeping an eye on his Tabletop Geeks page for any updates.

Madam Sybelle, the Most Rotten Belle

Posted in Miniatures on October 27th, 2010 by Svenn

I finally finished up my next model, Madam Sybelle. If you have not played Malifaux, she would be the head of the Resurrectionist’s Rotten Belles essentially. While not my best model, she came out well enough I think.

Blue Belle

Undead Ladies of the Night!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted my miniatures here. I’m a bit slow with the painting. However, I have finished up all 3 of my Rotten Belles for my Malifaux Resurrectionist crew. I’ve got the Red Chapel box set along with a few additional models (Bete Noir, Copycat Killer, and Miss Pack). I’m trying to get at least a 25-35ss crew completed so I can field a fully painted army for simple games, and so I can possibly participate in some tournaments. I’m in the process of painting up Sybelle now as well, so I’ll try and get some pics up of her soon. For now, here are some pics of the finished Rotten Belles. Read more »

Another Front View

A Real Woman

It’s been a while since I’ve put up any photos of my projects (because it’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to do much work on any of them mainly). I just finished the painting on my first Malifaux miniature tonight, an undead lady of the night. I still need to decorate the base, but the painting itself is done.

We had a very good response to the first interview so it looks like we’ll be continuing the segment. He has had his hand in various other Mordheim projects as well. He is also a moderator on Tom’s Boring Mordheim Forum, the Specialist Games Forum and the Mordheim Yahoo group. Interview: DeafNala (Alan Preuss)

Posted in Interviews on November 4th, 2009 by Svenn

UPDATE! DeafNala has decided to use the Tabletop Geeks galleries for hosting photos of his work. You can see tons of his stuff over at The Mercenary Minis of DeafNala… & Stuff.

Yesterday I promised you a new feature and today I deliver! Our new feature will be interviews with prominent community members and hobbyists displaying their works and letting you get to know them in the process. There were a couple of reasons behind this idea. The first was simply to highlight some great works and to get to know the people behind them. The other big reason was to give people ideas, inspirations, and maybe even some tips from people who are experienced hobbyists.
