There was an error with a server migration by our host yesterday that caused some issues with the site. This issue caused the site to appear as if it had rolled back an entire year. This meant that any new content posted on the main page was missing, the downloads pages were old versions, many user galleries were missing, and the site may not have recognized your login info. Unfortunately, this also means that if you logged in yesterday within that period and saved a roster or uploaded photos to your gallery they were not saved to the current version of the site. In keeping up with their tradition of great customer support and dedication to keeping their game from being too expensive Wyrd Miniatures has released the v2 stat cards for Malifaux in PDF form. The v2 stat cards have all of the latest errata and rules on them. This is a quick way to print out the latest cards if you’ve got the original versions of the stat cards. This is also great if you simply want to have print outs of your opponent’s cards so you can keep up with what their characters can do without needing to flip through the rulebook. The stat cards are available over on the Malifaux Downloads page right now!
It’s been a while since this has happened, unfortunately, but the Roster Builder has received a small update. Thanks to a reader/fan of Tabletop Geeks we now have the Dark Elves up on the Roster Builder (listed with the Unofficial warbands). I’m still looking to get the Roster Builder updated even more, specifically with campaign support but it’s going to take some time. Keep checking back and I’ll keep you guys updated. Read more »
I don’t normally post about this kind of stuff, but I felt like this warranted sharing with everyone. Maybe it’s just because I’m crazy about laminating everything though. I laminate rosters, Malifaux character cards, reference sheets… anything that I can. I like to make sure my stuff is preserved. It’s also nice to use dry erase markers for tracking things on laminated cards or rosters. Read more »
The Malifaux Downloads page has been getting a lot of love lately. There are not only new downloads up but the layout has been redesigned as well! Ratty and Cenotaph of the official Wyrd forums have been a huge help in making the downloads page awesome. Read more »
You may have already noticed but there are a bunch of new Malifaux downloads up on the Malifaux Downloads page. Cenotaph and Ratty from the Wyrd Forums have created a bunch of new Strategy, Scheme, and Terrain reference card downloads with the Rising Powers stuff. A big thank you to those guys for taking the time to create these awesome reference cards and for allowing me to host them on Tabletop Geeks.
There is still a need for an updated reference sheet with the new Book 2 rules if anyone feels up to the challenge! And as always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions or comments.
I recently added some new things to the site, as well as fixed a few major bugs. The User Sites directory has been given a major update that adds some new pages as well as updates the way it displays the member galleries. If you were having troubles with the Roster Builder saving, try that again as I implemented a few pretty large bug fixes. I have also set up an official Tabletop Geeks twitter account. If you’re on twitter follow us for all the latest updates!
It seems there was a problem with the code for saving Rosters in the Roster Builder. The buttons to save just wouldn’t show up even if you had a User Site and were logged in. This is now fixed. The saving should work properly. If you see any other issues with it, please contact us so we can get it fixed asap.
Just a reminder that in order to save you need to not only have a username, but have signed up for a site as well as everything is saved to your site. Check out this post for more information on Roster Builder saving.
It’s finally here. The Mordheim Roster Builder has been updated to allow you to save your warbands! You can not only save your warbands, but share them with your friends as well. All of this is done with the new Tabletop Geeks User Sites.
The server transfer has been completed. Everything should be working as normal again, and hopefully be much faster and not time out anymore. If you do still have issues with performance on the site, please contact us and let us know. So far it appears to be much better, but I don’t want it to get as bad as it did last time.
